Comprehensive media relations services

Dignity Health’s external communications team is a full service public relations team that is dedicated to working with and responding to journalists’ inquiries and requests within their deadlines. In addition, we also provide:

• Interview scheduling
• Background information about medical services and topics, research and faculty
• Recommendations for renowned medical experts (link to experts page)
• Photographs, digital images and b-roll when available

Media policies

All media relations matters must be cleared and approved by the external communications team, and all HIPAA regulations must be closely followed.  

To protect the privacy of our patients and their loved ones, a member of the external communications team must always accompany members of the press, including reporters, photographers and film crews, while on our campuses. 

To request interviews, or on-campus visits to any of the Dignity Health hospitals or facilities in Arizona, please contact the external communications team.

Business hours

Our normal business hours are 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Monday through Friday. Reporters calling before or after regular business hours, or on a holiday, should call the main number of the hospital and ask to have the house manager paged.
