Dignity Health Medical Group Internal Medicine- Chandler is a growing, innovative academic medical practice in in the fastest growing and thriving area of the country. The practice is designed with residency training in mind. This is a community-based practice that helps residents experience a full spectrum of primary care from adolescent medicine to geriatrics, incuding outpatient palliative care, preoperative consultation and learning to use POCUS in the office.
This 8,368-square-foot new location is at the Presidio, less than one mile from Dignity Health Chandler Regional Medical Center is a dedicated employed faculty consisting of IM specialists, a geriatrician, a social worker, nursing and MA support staff helps train residents to care for their own continuity patients in “the clinic of the future” setting.
Residency clinic: one-on-one training
Our outpatient primary care practice provides you with the opportunity to train with experienced faculty who will guide you through "real life" diagnosis and management of your patients. This environment will equip you to care for patients facing a variety of illnesses, injuries and chronic disease management, while also focusing on their wellness and preventive medicine.
For those interested in a career in primary care internal medicine, PGY-2 and PGY-3 selectives in ambulatory care will pair you with a primary care internist in the community for a block rotation.

Our internal medicine residency clinic is designed to empower both residents and faculty with all the clinical tools and information essential for modern internal medicine practice. To further enhance resident education, we hold specialty ambulatory-focused conferences twice weekly, meticulously reviewing key primary care and ambulatory medicine topics.
Additionally, our internal medicine residents strengthen their clinic experience through a standardized educational curriculum from leading experts: Johns Hopkins PEAC.
