Helping Hands Holiday Jam Event for Children

On Friday, December 9th, 2016, the Northridge Hospital Foundation and Dignity Health Northridge Hospital will host the 16th Annual "Helping Hands Holiday Jam" for over 300 underserved children

Northridge Hospital Foundation in partnership with the Harold & Carole Pump Foundation, is turning an ordinary parking lot into a child’s holiday paradise!  Three hundred (300) underserved children from the San Fernando Valley have been invited to celebrate a true gifted Christmas with carnival games, arts and crafts, food, a visit and photo with Santa and a bag full of gifts to take home. For the past 15 years the Holiday Jam has been a Holiday highlight for thousands of children from our local area elementary schools between the ages of 7-10.  These children are part of the “Title1/No Child Left Behind program that provides financial assistance to local agencies for the education of children of low-income families.  For many of these children, this will be there only Christmas.

This is a special day for these children to celebrate and just be a kid.  Thanks to the 100+ volunteers from Northridge Hospital and the community who donate their time, money and products to make certain that this event is a success.
