The all-digital cardiovascular imaging system used by St. Mary Medical Center cardiologists enables us to easily and quickly view the structure and functioning of your heart.
Interventional Radiology
We offer a comprehensive range of Interventional Radiology services, including:
- Full range of general IR capabilities
- Y-90 radioembolization treatment for liver cancer
- Diagnostic and therapeutic Neuro Interventional therapy
Our facility is equipped with advanced imaging technology to support a wide range of procedures:
- Cath Lab 1: Features a 2017 Single-Plane GE Innova imaging table capable of performing all functions necessary for non-structural Interventional Cardiology, Interventional Radiology, and select Neuro-Interventional Radiology procedures.
- Cath Lab 2: Currently equipped with a 2002 GE Innova imaging table suitable for Interventional Cardiology and non-subtracted Interventional Radiology. This system is scheduled for replacement with a brand new GE Innova imaging table as part of our ongoing commitment to providing the latest technology.
Complex Procedures
- Biopsies and draining fluid build-up around the heart
- Diagnostic and interventional vascular procedures in the arteries and veins of the extremities (we use carbon dioxide instead of dye for peripheral vascular procedures, thus protecting the kidneys)
- Electrophysiology studies to detect and treat heart rhythm disorders and atrial fibrillation, plus implantation of pacemakers and AICDs (implantable defibrillators)
