    Our new Gilbert FM practice did open 9/19/2022, but it was in temporary space in MOB1. We opened our new FM Practice Center in May of 2023, just 1 month prior to welcoming our first class of FM residents.

We have seen remarkable growth since the opening of our new Family Medicine Practice Center.  We are now thrilled to have our full complement of residents onboard, and anticipate continued growth in the coming years.  

July 2024

The DHEV Family Medicine Residents (excluding PGY1s) began covering shifts at the Dignity Health Children's Medical Clinic, which is located within the Chandler CARE Center.  While working in this center our residents provide essential pediatric care and services to uninsured and underserved youth from this predominantly Latin community under the supervision of our Core Faculty.   

July 2025

The PGY3’s in our program have started their final year of training. As part of their training our seniors are doing a Practice Management Experience for one half-day each month.   This experience allows them to visit various practice models, visit with various healthcare executives, and see a number of community centers in the area.

Unique Rotation Structure and Offerings

Our innovative framework includes outpatient FM clinic, inpatient rotations as well as required and elective specialty rotations. And speaking of electives, our two week mini block approach to residency provides twelve elective blocks, allowing residents to personalize their training to fit their anticipated practice situation.
