   Taking Steps To Ensure Your Safety

Hospitals

  • Temperature screenings for anyone entering our care sites.
  • Masks are required for everyone. Patients are welcome to use their own cloth masks, or a paper mask will be provided for patients who don’t have one.
  • Enhanced cleaning in all patient areas and waiting areas.
  • Separate care areas for patients with COVID-19 symptoms.
  • COVID-19 testing in advance for all patients having scheduled procedures and surgeries. 
  • Visitors are now permitted. Please view individual hospital visiting hours. 

Urgent Cares

Our Ahwatukee, Gilbert, Maricopa and Queen Creek urgent care locations are open and serving patients with the following precautions:

  • Temperature screenings for all patients and staff.
  • Masks are required for everyone and a mask will be provided if you don’t have one.
  • Enhanced cleaning in all patient areas and waiting areas.
  • Social distancing in all waiting areas.
  • Limited to one accompanying adult per patient i.e., caregiver, parent or support person.

Services and Procedures Have Resumed

On May 1, Dignity Health hospitals in Arizona received approval from the Arizona Department of Health Services (ADHS) to reinstate elective surgeries. All of our hospitals have started performing elective surgeries in a phased approach. 

Physicians who practice at Dignity Health hospitals in Arizona have also adopted new guidelines regarding scheduled procedures and diagnostics. Our clinical teams are prepared to conduct procedures and diagnostics as necessary with appropriate COVID-19 precautions.

We have made certain changes to enhance the safety of our patients and our staff. In terms of entrances, exits and facility hours, access will only be available through the hospitals’ main entrances or emergency departments (for emergency patients only).
