Dignity Health - St. Rose Dominican Hospitals Mark Year One of COVID-19 Pandemic

Hospital exteriors will be bathed in blue light to remember a year of suffering, sacrifice, and dedication

MARCH 11, 2021 -

Dignity Health-St. Rose Dominican Acute Care Hospitals

Starting at dusk on Thursday, March 11, Dignity Health hospitals in southern Nevada will be illuminated in blue light to commemorate the one year anniversary of the date the World Health Organization declared COVID-19 a global pandemic.

Thursday, March 11, 2021 – from dusk until dawn

Siena Campus – 3001 St. Rose Parkway, Henderson, NV
(St. Rose Parkway & Eastern)

San Martín Campus – 8280 W. Warm Springs Road, Las Vegas, NV
(Warm Springs Road between Buffalo and Durango)

Rose de Lima Campus – 102 E. Lake Mead Parkway
(Lake Mead Parkway between Boulder Highway and Water Street)

Turning the exterior lights of its southern Nevada hospitals to a subdued blue is Dignity Health-St. Rose Dominican’s manner of marking this occasion and honoring the suffering and sacrifices made by families and our entire community during the first full year of the COVID-19 pandemic. The blue lights also represent the tireless dedication provided by the countless health care professionals and support staff in our community who bravely stood their posts in hospitals and medical facilities to face of the unknown. Their hard work and bravery were major contributions in our community’s journey over the past year.
