Dr. Maggie Ozan Rafferty Hired As Chief Experience Officer

Rod A. Davis, President/CEO of St. Rose Dominican Hospitals, announced today that Maggie Ozan Rafferty has been appointed Chief Experience Officer for the three-hospital system.

In this newly-created position, Rafferty will coordinate and guide the patient experience across all touch points within the hospitals. Rafferty will ensure that St. Rose continues to provide an experience to patients that surpasses their expectations and is consistent with the hospitals’ faith-based values.

Rafferty brings over 25 years of progressive healthcare experience to St. Rose and has held senior leadership roles in both healthcare and education. She served as the Chief Nursing Officer at Silver Cross Hospital in Joliet, Ill.; Vice President of Operations for the School of Nursing at Rasmussen College in Oak Brook, Ill.; and as a consultant for numerous health care organizations in the U.S. and abroad.

A registered nurse, Rafferty holds a Doctorate of Health Administration from Central Michigan University, a M.B.A. from the University of Chicago and a Master of Health Administration from Governors State University. She is a member of multiple professional organizations including the American College of Healthcare Executives (ACHE), the Healthcare Financial Management Association (HFMA), The American Organization of Nursing Executives (AONE), and The Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM).
