Laura Hennum Joins St. Rose As Chief Strategy Officer

Rod A. Davis, President/CEO of St. Rose Dominican Hospitals, announced today that Laura Hennum has been appointed to the position of Chief Strategy Officer (CSO) for the hospital system.

As CSO, Hennum will be responsible for building the service area’s market share, brand recognition, and profitability. Additionally, she will oversee and implement an effective strategic planning process for the Nevada service area and establish effective growth and business models to be successful under health care reform. Hennum will lead efforts related to business plan development for major capital projects as well as evaluation and development of mergers, acquisitions and joint venture opportunities. Physician and ambulatory care operations will also report to her.

Hennum brings a wealth of experience from positions in other medical centers, most recently as Vice President of Professional Services and Business Development at Enloe Medical Center in Chico, Cal. Hennum has a Master of Science Degree in Health Administration and a Bachelor of Arts in Communications. She received the Jeanne Posey Award-Business Woman of the Year Award in 2012 in northern California and was a Story of Excellence Recipient in the same year for Enloe Medical Center.

Hennum is relocating to Henderson with her husband Eric, an independent business owner, along with their twin sons, Will and Jack.
