Dignity Health's Greater Sacramento-area Family Birth Centers deliver nearly 9,000 babies each year. Our Family Birth Center rooms are equipped with the latest technology needed to accommodate any birth and, should the need arise, cesarean birth suites are also available at each Family Birth Center. If you have a high-risk pregnancy, Dignity Health doctors have the experience and technology you need. In the event of a premature birth or seriously ill baby, your infant may be transferred to one of our acclaimed neonatal intensive care units nearby at either Mercy San Juan Medical Center or Methodist Hospital of Sacramento, where specially-trained doctors and nurses use the latest equipment to care for every need of the tiniest of newborns.
