Informational orientation through a video tour of our state-of-the-art Family Birth Center. With the current suspension of in-person Maternity Tours due to COVID-19, the Family Birth Center invites you to virtually tour our center through this video.
Northridge Hospital Medical Center: Recorded Maternity Tour Session
Prepare for your child's birth. Class topics include physical and emotional changes, what to expect during pregnancy and birth, techniques for relaxation and breathing, cesarean birth, pain relief options. This is a four-class series that can be joined at any time. Registration is recommended by the sixth month of pregnancy.
Class 1: Stages of Labor: Signs, Symptoms & Emergencies
Class 2: Pain Management/Cesarean Birth
Class 3: Breastfeeding Workshop
Class 4: Postpartum/Parenting
Select Wednesdays, 7 - 9 p.m.
Offered every Thursday for mothers looking to exchange breastfeeding information and experiences. Led by a Lactation Educator.
Group meets on Thursdays from 1:00 – 2:00 p.m.
