Birth Center
The Labor-Delivery-Recovery suites allow you to remain in one room during all phases of your labor and delivery. Your room is fully equipped with everything you may need for delivery, including an advanced monitoring system that allows you the freedom to walk around during labor.
Our state-of-the-art Level III-B Neonatal Intensive Care Unit provides assurance that highly sophisticated care is immediately available ensuring infants have a greater chance to reach their maximum potential. For high-risk pregnancies, our perinatology team combines advanced skills with sincere compassion for both mother and growing baby.
Online Nursery is a free service where you can create your baby’s own web page.This is a fun and fast way for you to safely share the news of your baby’s birth. The web page includes baby’s photo and birth information allowing friends and family around the world to post messages or order baby photos.

Welcome Baby
Our Welcome Baby program offers free hospital and home-based services to all women who deliver at Northridge Hospital. Parents can receive information and resources on pregnancy, childbirth, early childhood development and maternal depression.
Breast Feeding Support
Our bilingual Mother-Baby trained nurses offer aroundthe-clock breastfeeding support so that all moms feel secure before leaving the Hospital. We are a Birthing Friendly Hospital by adopting practices that support breastfeeding.
Infant Hearing Screening
Northridge Hospital’s Women’s and Children’s Services has earned a four-year Infant Hearing Screening State Accreditation for helping to ensure optimal growth and development.
Pre-Registration to the Hospital is Easy & Fast
You should complete all of the necessary paperwork in advance via our easy online admitting. This saves time you come to deliver and allows you to go directly to the Family Birth Center.
Please complete the pre-admission application by your seventh month and return it with the necessary information to the Admitting Department by mail, in person or online. For additional information call Admitting at (818) 885-5354.
Arriving at the Hospital For Delivery
When you arrive from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m. please enter through the main lobby and go to the 5th floor. When you arrive at night from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. you must enter through the Emergency Department.
