At St. Bernardine Medical Center, our goal is to assess your unique condition so we can then discover whether or not you need surgery. Sometimes surgery isn't the only option to return you to activity. Physical therapy and occupational therapy provide comprehensive evaluation and treatment for a wide variety of patients with orthopedic, neurological, muscular/skeletal impairments, cardiopulmonary and complex medical conditions.
We improve the way you move through physical therapy. Our program focuses on the whole self and restoring your physical strength, range of motion, coordination/balance and endurance to achieve the highest functional outcome and level of independence.
Occupational therapy helps you to improve the way you perform every day activities such as bathing, dressing, eating, writing, cooking and other tasks that may be challenging as one ages or recovers from injury.
