Caring for families and communities: it's academic.

Your Family Medicine rotations will take place in several care settings, including inpatient and outpatient (clinic) locations. Additional opportunities will be available based on your career path rotations and specializations. Your outpatient residency clinic experience will provide “real world” opportunities to engage with patients - newborn to geriatric and everything in between - with teaching faculty at your side.

Residency clinic: one-on-one training

Our outpatient Family Medicine Practice Center will provide you with opportunities for one-on-one training with faculty who will guide you through the intricacies of patient cases. You will work with a diverse patient population commensurate with members of the thriving, growing East Valley communities we serve.

This "real world" environment will equip you to care for patients throughout their entire life cycle. You will encourage health and wellness; diagnose and treat illness and injury, manage chronic conditions and address episodic health needs.

Brand new Family Medicine Practice Center for a brand new you

We have broken ground for a brand new 20,275-square-foot Family Medicine Practice Center, which will be the core learning facility for you to develop team and medical leadership skills while treating patients alongside faculty.

The design and flow of the family practice environment is focused on efficient care delivery allowing each member of the care team to work collaboratively. Team members thrive in an efficient environment that supports streamlined workflows, allowing teams to focus on value-added activities.
