We invite you to consider St. Joseph's Medical Center located in Stockton, CA, as you make your residency program selection.

Application Process

We will accept applications in October 2020 via ERAS for the 2021-2022 academic year.  St. Joseph's will accept but not sponsor J-1 Visas.  

Documents Required:

  • Dean's Letter (not required to receive an interview invitation)
  • 3 Letters of Recommendations
  • Official USMLE/COMLEX Step 1 Score
  • Official USNLE/COMLEX Step 2 Scores: CS and CK/level 2 CE and level 2 PE **please note: some applicants will be invited for an interview before scores are received**
  • Personal Statement
  • Transcript
  • Curriculum Vitae
  • ECFMG Status Report (if applicable)

  • US Clinical Experience
  • Applicants from the Central Valley of California will be strongly considered
