Wellness Resources at St. Joseph’s for Residents and Faculty

At St. Joseph’s Medical Center in Stockton, CA, we are committed to supporting the well-being of our residents through a variety of health and wellness resources.

  • Our Employee Assistance Program (EAP), provided through Anthem, offers confidential counseling and support services at no cost to residents and their household members. Resources cover emotional well-being, financial and legal concerns, parenting, elder care, and more.

  • All residents are eligible for a free gym membership at In-Shape Health Clubs, with over 60 locations throughout California. Family members are also eligible. Applications are available through the Human Resources department.

  • Spiritual and emotional support is available through Spiritual Care Services, including the Chaplain Chatline, a confidential support line for residents and staff.

  • Annual health screenings such as lipid panels, urinalysis, and CBC are available to residents through Employee Health, along with support for chronic disease management.

  • Residents can also join the Wellable Wellness Platform, a web-based and app-connected system for participating in wellness challenges, tracking activities, earning rewards, and learning about health topics.

  • Weekly updates and activities are shared through the Wellness Newsletter, and residents are encouraged to join Music Therapy sessions, which are offered both virtually and on-site.
