Wellness Committee
Our resident-led Wellness Committee at St. Joseph’s Medical Center actively organizes wellness activities, social events, and initiatives to foster a positive and supportive culture.
Wellness Resources at St. Joseph’s for Residents and Faculty
At St. Joseph’s Medical Center in Stockton, CA, we are committed to supporting the well-being of our residents through a variety of health and wellness resources.
Our Employee Assistance Program (EAP), provided through Anthem, offers confidential counseling and support services at no cost to residents and their household members. Resources cover emotional well-being, financial and legal concerns, parenting, elder care, and more.

All residents are eligible for a free gym membership at In-Shape Health Clubs, with over 60 locations throughout California. Family members are also eligible. Applications are available through the Human Resources department.

Spiritual and emotional support is available through Spiritual Care Services, including the Chaplain Chatline, a confidential support line for residents and staff.

Annual health screenings such as lipid panels, urinalysis, and CBC are available to residents through Employee Health, along with support for chronic disease management.

Residents can also join the Wellable Wellness Platform, a web-based and app-connected system for participating in wellness challenges, tracking activities, earning rewards, and learning about health topics.

Weekly updates and activities are shared through the Wellness Newsletter, and residents are encouraged to join Music Therapy sessions, which are offered both virtually and on-site.
