Grateful patient returns as Santa to bring holiday cheer to Dignity Health St. Rose Siena Hospital’s youngest patients

(Henderson, NV - Dec. 18, 2025)  – The halls of Dignity Health St. Rose Dominican Siena hospital twinkled a little brighter on Friday as Santa Claus and Mrs. Claus provided an extra dose of holiday cheer to children and families in the pediatric unit.

For “Santa’s helper”, Tommy DeGennaro, Dignity Health hospitals hold a special place in his heart. His life was saved last year by Dr. CJ Park, a Dignity Health cardiovascular surgeon, who performed a lifesaving triple bypass on Tommy after he started suffering serious chest pains.

Since then, Tommy and his wife Rosette’s annual visits to Siena hospital and its sister facilities are even more meaningful. The couple is committed to spreading goodwill and seasonal smiles to the babies gaining strength in the NICU and the children being cared for by Siena’s dedicated pediatric medical team. Their visit served as a powerful reminder of hope, healing and human connection that define the holiday season.
