Health Services Coalition Announces Hospital Services Agreement

The Health Services Coalition and Dignity Health-St. Rose Dominican are pleased to announce a participating provider agreement for its member organizations at all St. Rose Dominican hospitals.

This new multi-year agreement begins January 1, 2016. The Health Services Coalition is comprised of major local employers and labor unions, and negotiates contracts for hospital and ambulatory surgery services on behalf of its member organizations. Combined, the Coalition represents the largest self-funded insurance group in the state, covering more than 260,000 individuals in the Las Vegas metro area.

Health Services Coalition members are: Boyd Gaming Corporation; Caesars Entertainment; Cement Masons and Plasterers Health and Welfare Trust; Clark County Self-funded; Clark County Firefighters; Construction Industry and Laborers Health and Welfare Trust; Culinary Health Fund; Golden Nugget Hotel and Casino; IBEW 357 Electricians; Las Vegas Firefighters; Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Dept. Health and Welfare Trust; NV Energy; NV Hand; North Las Vegas Fire; Operating Engineers Local 501 Security Fund; Plumbers and Pipefitters Health and Welfare Fund; Teamsters Local 14 –Security Fund for Southern Nevada; Teamsters Local 631 – Security Fund for Southern Nevada; Teamsters Security Fund for So. NV – Hotel & Casino Workers (Formerly Teamsters 995); Tropicana Las Vegas; and UFCW Local 711 and Retail Food Employers Benefit Fund.

Dignity Health-St. Rose Dominican’s health-care services covered under the contract include three full-service, acute-care hospitals in the southern Las Vegas Valley and Henderson: The Rose de Lima, San Martín and Siena campuses, along with three associated community-outreach sites, the Barbara Greenspun WomensCare Centers of Excellence. The agreement also includes coverage at three ambulatory surgery centers: Durango Outpatient Surgery Center, Parkway Surgery Center at Horizon Ridge, and Parkway Surgery Center. Access to St. Rose facilities is part of the Health Services Coalition network beginning Jan. 1.

Both organizations look forward to joining forces collaboratively to enhance the health and well being of enrollees beginning in January.
