St Rose Dominican Hiring 300 Employees

Dignity Health - St. Rose Dominican's Siena Campus is hiring employees for its new patient tower, a development that will increase the hospital's capacity to 326 private rooms.

The tower is being built by Kitchell, and was designed by Orcutt | Winslow Partnership. The Siena Tower is expected to be complete this fall and will create an estimated 300 jobs for southern Nevada.

The hiring of new Siena Tower employees is the latest milestone in a four-year renovation and expansion project of the Siena Campus. Last spring, the project held its groundbreaking ceremony, and last summer, its topping off ceremony. A year ago, a new parking garage was built to help with parking capacity of the project, and two years ago, the hospital celebrated the opening of its expanded Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, projects also overseen by the design/build team of Orcutt | Winslow Partnership and Kitchell.

“This project is so important for the community the Siena Campus serves,” said Brian Brannman, senior vice president of operations for Dignity Health Nevada. “With this new tower, St. Rose will have the ability to bring quality, state-of-the-art care to more individuals who need it most, with a touch of humankindness. We’re looking for employees that can fit the mold and help spread compassion to our patients.”

The new five-story tower, located at 3001 St. Rose Parkway, will offer an additional 96 private rooms, bringing the total number of beds at the Siena Campus to 326. The 220,000-square-foot project includes 56 emergency bays, six new operating suites, separate entrances for cardiology and cardiovascular services, and expanded space for admitting, nutrition services, radiology, lab, pharmacy, endoscopy suites and other highly utilized outpatient support services.
