Spiritual Care Services

Mercy Gilbert Medical Center cares for the whole person – body, mind and spirit. That's why Spiritual Care Services are available to you and your loved ones throughout your medical treatment. Board certified chaplains are trained to engage various faith traditions and are available for:

  • Spiritual counseling, support and ethical consultation
  • Assistance with advanced healthcare planning
  • Spiritual or cultural concerns affecting your treatment
  • Support with grieving

Service Hours:

Chaplains are available 

Monday-Friday: 6:00 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.

Saturday: 8:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

Sunday: 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Emergency Spiritual Care Services are available 24-hours a day, seven days a week. Your nurse can arrange for a visit. Spiritual Care Services are provided at no cost. A chapel is located on the first floor of the hospital.
