Welcome to Dignity Health St. Rose Dominican Graduate Medical Education. Thank you for considering us for your residency training. We are glad you are visiting our site to learn more about what we have to offer.

We are excited about starting our medical residency program for a number of reasons. Most notably, we are committed to building healthier communities by educating and retaining tomorrow's physicians preparing you to address community healthcare needs, especially for those who are vulnerable, underserved, and marginalized. We are looking for residents who want to be leaders in medicine and community, advocates for the disenfranchised, and compassionate professionals able to deliver care of the highest quality and value.

Southern Nevada offers a socioeconomically diverse and culturally vibrant community.  We will best serve the healthcare needs of our community by attracting diverse applicants who seek academic excellence, commitment to community service, active life experiences outside of medicine, and characteristics that will fill physician needs in our community. We aim to provide a welcoming and supportive yet challenging educational environment to you and all of our medical students, residents, and advanced learners so you can prepare yourselves for careers characterized by commitment to excellence in patient care, teaching, and lifelong learning.

We are dedicated to providing a training environment that provides primary care experiences that address social determinants of health, build trust with patients and provide a continuum of quality care. We will facilitate connection to the local medical community during your training years through the building of professional relationships and positive experiences with local physicians. There will be opportunities to meet or be mentored by, local primary care physicians and specialists within our community.
