Welcome Family Medicine Applicants

Northridge participates in the National Residency Matching Program (NRMP). All applicants must submit their application and supporting documents through ERAS (Electronic Residency Application Service).

For your residency application to be considered complete, please provide the following items:

  • ERAS application with personal statement
  • Visa sponsorship is not available
  • USMLE / COMLEX results (passing scores, 1stattempt)
  • Medical School transcripts
  • Dean's letter (MSPE)
  • Three professional letters of recommendation (minimum 1 from a Family Medicine Physician)
  • International graduates must provide ECFMG Certification (evidence of submission / receipt is unacceptable)
  • Graduation within five years is strongly preferred

Our ERAS post office will open in the fall for applicants seeking a position in the next Match. Our application deadline is December 15.

Virtual Interview Day Applicant Itinerary 2022/2023

This year all of our interviews will be conducted in person and virtually. Schedules and agendas are currently in the works, but below is a synopsis of the itinerary for interview days. Please note we are part of the CRN group and pledge to follow the National Resident Matching Program’s (NRMP) Code of Conduct. Please see attached for more info. 

Monday Afternoons: In person

1:30 pm – 4:30 pm

  • Meet and Greet / Q&A w/ Residents
  • Meet and Greet & Program Review w/ Program Director
  • 30 min interview w/ Resident
  • 30 min interview w/ Faculty 

Wed/Fri Mornings: ZOOM (limited space)

8:45 am – 11:00 am

  • ZOOM Meet and Greet / Q&A w/ Residents
  • Meet and Greet & Program Review w/ Program Director
  • 30 min interview w/ Resident

Thursday Mornings: In person
