"Responsible, Early Detection" of Breast Cancer

Breast cancer … it can affect both women and men, and with early detection and treatment, many breast cancer patients not only survive but go on to lead healthy, happy and vibrant lives.

Southern Nevada ranks among the highest in the nation for underinsured and uninsured individuals. Dignity Health - St. Rose Dominican works in partnership with Susan G. Komen Nevada, the National Breast Cancer Foundation, and the Rose Regatta to provide free clinical breast exams, mammograms, ultrasounds, surgical consultations and biopsies to women and men 49 and younger who lack adequate health care resources or the financial means to obtain them.

For those 50 and over, call the Mammovan at 877.581.6266 for services.

This collaborative program is called R.E.D. Rose (RED stands for Responsible Early Detection). Because the breast cancer survival rate for both women and men is directly related to how early treatment is sought, the program addresses the need for quality breast cancer screenings, diagnostic screenings and treatment

For more information on the R.E.D. Rose program, please call 702.492.8557. Bilingual services are available.

To make a financial gift to the program, please call the St. Rose Dominican Health Foundation at 702.616.5750.
