Kristian Borofka was born and raised in Clovis, California. She attended Santa Clara University and received a Bachelor’s degree in Biochemistry with a minor in Public Health. She worked as a student researcher while attending college, investigating the interplay between late effects of cancer treatment and quality of life in long-term cancer survivors. She then attended Touro University California in Vallejo to attend medical school. While she loved the Bay Area, she continually missed the Central Valley of California and was happy to return for residency. She chose to specialize in Family Medicine because she enjoys working with all stages of life and focusing on preventative care. She is interested in LGBTQ+, geriatric, and women’s health issues. Outside of medicine, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends, knitting, exercising and swimming, and cooking.
Danny was born and raised in Sacramento, California. He received bachelor's degrees in Computer Science and Microbiology from the University of California, Davis. He worked as a programmer while attending college and also spent time volunteering at the UC Davis MIND Institute. This led him to develop a strong interest in the use of technology to improve medical care. He attended medical school at Touro University Nevada, just outside of Las Vegas. Missing Northern California, Danny decided to return to Sacramento for residency and specialize in Family Medicine. He chose Family Medicine because it would allow him to treat patients of all ages and provide them with full-spectrum care, including education and preventive medicine. He is also interested in medical informatics. Outside of medicine, Danny enjoys spending time with his family and friends, tennis, running, working with computers, and eating candy.
Kim Le was born and raised in Sacramento, California. She received a bachelor's degree in Biological Sciences with a minor in Chicana/o studies from the University of California, Davis. While attending college, she worked as a resident advisor and volunteered at the Willow Clinic, which provides free healthcare to the homeless population in Sacramento. She then worked as research assistant and pre-natal coordinator for a few years before she attended medical school at the University of California, Davis School of Medicine. She believes that an individual’s health is dependent not only on the individual, but it also involves the patient’s entire family and community. Specializing in Family Medicine was an obvious fit for her because she would be able to provide full-spectrum care to patients of all ages and their entire family. Outside of medicine, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends, cooking, spinning, running, doing yoga, and upcycling.
Sherry grew up in Reno, Nevada, the "Biggest Little City in the World." In high school, a couple of hospitalizations inspired her to become a doctor. To that end, she studied Integrative Biology at the University of California, Berkeley with a minor in Chinese. She developed her passion for preventive care and holistic medicine while completing her Masters in Public Health at the University of Nevada, Reno and then stayed in Reno to study at the University Of Nevada, Reno School of Medicine. Sherry is delighted to have the opportunity to bring her commitment to continuity of care, patient education, and working with the underserved to Methodist. When she is not working, she enjoys conquering escape rooms, trying new recipes, painting like Bob Ross, and playing with her cat.
Natalie Morgan was born and raised in Vallejo, CA. She ventured to Washington, DC for college and completed her undergraduate studies at Howard University, receiving her BS degree in Biology. She relocated to Los Angeles to participate in the ReApplicant Program (RAP), a post-baccalaureate pipeline program at DGSOM at UCLA. While in LA, she worked as a substitute teacher and medical scribe in urban, underserved neighborhoods in West and South LA. She was part of the second cohort to complete the Accelerated Competency-based Education in Primary Care (ACE-PC), 3-year MD program at UC Davis School of Medicine. Natalie knew she wanted to treat adults, but after her Pediatrics rotation, she realized she could not give up taking care of children--Family Medicine was the perfect specialty choice for her. She is very passionate about health equity, preventive medicine and social justice. She enjoys live music, hula and Tahitian dancing, trying new restaurants and spending time with her family.
I was born and raised in Corpus Christi, Texas and moved to Boston for undergrad at Boston University (Go Terriers!) and medical school at Tufts (go Jumbos!). After spending the last decade in cold New England, I am thrilled to be calling warm and sunny Sacramento my new home! My interests include women’s health, pediatric/newborn medicine, LGBTQ medicine and social determinants of health. I am excited to be joining the Dignity Methodist family!
Gurjeet was born and raised in Northern California. She received her Bachelor’s Degree from the College of Letters and Sciences at UC Berkeley with majors in Psychology and Biology. She attended medical school at Touro University in Vallejo, where she studied medicine with an osteopathic emphasis. She chose to pursue a residency in family medicine and her areas of interest include nutrition, sports medicine and promoting wellness.
